Bright and modern in design, this museum highlights the history of the Victorian seaside resort of Herne Bay and the surrounding area. Themes include seaside holidays and attractions, the town's piers and the redevelopment of the resort. Find out about the famous clock tower, once the tallest in the country, and have your photo taken through a traditional seaside Aunt Sally. Exciting finds from the Roman fort and Saxon church of Reculver are also on display, together with a prototype of the famous 'Bouncing Bomb', which were originally tested off Reculver.
